Four Dominican players have found favor with the Windward Islands selectors and will form part of the Windward Islands Women’s team for the 2026 West Indies Women’s T20 tournament due begin Tuesday, January 13th in St. Vincent.
Dominica’s captain Earnisha Fontaine, Abini St Jean, Amiah Gilbert and Aldith Gasper are the 4 players who will represent Dominica on the Windward Islands Women’s team while Gem Eloi has been named as a reserve player.
The windward islands women’s team is being captained by St Lucia’s Zaida James, and reads Afy Fletcher, Holly Charles, Carena Noel, Shannel Mckie, Nerisa Crafton, Ashlene Edwards, Selena Ross, Abini St. Jean, Earnisha Fontaine, Aldith Gasper, Jannillea Glasgow, Amiah Gilbert and Jaeda Tyrell.
The windwards will play Guyana in their opening match.
