French Dominican Joint Security Commission Meets

Dominica has begun discussion with the French to further strengthen cooperation on national security.

This as the 5th session of the French Dominican Joint Security Commission was held in Dominica  at the State House Conference Center on Tuesday.

Prime Minister Roosevelt Skerrit, Attorney General Levi Peter, Minister for National Security Rayburn Blackmoore, Police chief Daniel Carbon and other senior officials of the Commonwealth of Dominica Police Force attended the meeting.

Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of National Security and Legal Affairs Jo-Anne commodore, says both territories also spoke on collaborative measures to deal with the issue of illegal migration.
