Government, Aid Bank sign revised loan agreement to benefit private sector

Government has signed a revised agreement with the Aid Bank for the provision of loans in the Tourism and Manufacturing sectors.

The new agreements feature a reduction in interest rates among other measures to help the sectors rebound post hurricane Maria.

Minister for small business, commerce and enterprise Roselyn Paul says government is committed to assisting the private sector.

Tourism Minister Robert Tonge says the amendments will help the sector rebuild properties following the storm.

Meantime, Chairman of the Aid Bank, Martin Charles says the reduction in interest rates will provide significant relief for the customers.
