Government Building 13 More Homes At Joe Burton Wesley

Government is building an additional 13 homes at the Joe Burton area in Wesley to accommodate families who were squatting on lands which have been acquired for construction of the International airport.
This is in addition to the over 30 homes which have been built for landowners who had to be relocated due to the land acquisition.
Keys have already been handed over to a number of families.
Prime Minister Roosevelt Skerrit led a media tour to the Joe Burton area this morning.

Meantime Mr. Skerrit says compensation for land owners should be finalized within the next two months.
