Prime Minister Roosevelt Skerrit says the government is committed to striking a balance between preserving the environment and the development of capital projects in Dominica.
In recent times, a number of organizations to include the United Workers Party, the Dominica Hotel and Tourism Association, and other Private and Public sector organisations, raised concerns about the quarrying taking place at Deux branches.
Mr Skerrit made this statement during his ‘End of Year Press Conference this morning at the State House Conference Centre.
