Government Committed to Road Works in Roseau Valley

Minister for Public Works, Miriam Blanchard says Government is committed to speeding up the rehabilitation road works in the Cabannis and Wotten Waven areas.

A road collapse in the Cabannis area in December affected communities of Fond Canie, Trafalgar and Laudat and the like.

A delegation led by the Prime Minister Roosevelt Skerrit visited the project on the weekend and announced that a temporary bypass will be constructed in the area.

The Public Works Minister added that Government is currently taking steps to address the situation of the roads leading to Wotten Waven.
