Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Tourism and Urban Renewal, Careen Prevost says government is exploring the possibilities of dredging the Indian River in Portsmouth.
The Indian river, the widest river in Dominica is one of the top tourist attractions on the island.
Prevost says Hurricane Maria has impacted negatively on the river and government is looking at its available options.
