Government will be putting measures in place to create additional positions within the Ministry of Education to address the issue of appointments for teachers.
The Dominica Association of Teachers has voiced concerns on the lack of appointment for teachers on several occasions.
Prime Minister Roosevelt Skerrit says the matter is being addressed.
