An amendment to the Income Tax Act are among matters which goes to Parliament on Tuesday May 01st.

A Bill for an Act to provide for the implementation of the agreement establishing the Eastern Caribbean Partial Credit Guarantee Corporation, and an amendment to the Police Act are also among the highlights for Parliament.

The opposition will ask questions about Venezuela debt forgiveness, citizenship by Investment Program, Post Maria Government contracts, Ross University, recommencement of the Princess Margaret Hospital housing for Roseau North, Ravine Cock bypass and maintenance in the Antrim valley area.

The decision by Roseau Central MP Joseph Isaac to join the Cabinet of Prime Minister Roosevelt Skerrit is also a highlight of the sitting.

Isaac, who just last month was a member of the opposition United Workers Party, this morning sat on the Government side as new Minister for Environment, Climate Resilience, Disaster Management and Urban Renewal.
