West Indies cricketer Kavem Hodge says he is thankful for the opportunity to once again represent the regional side. After being dropped earlier this year, Hodge has earned a recall from Cricket West Indies for the upcoming Test series against New Zealand.
He noted that he dedicated significant effort to improving his game following his omission and hopes to make the most of any opportunity to play.

Meanwhile, veteran fast bowler Kemar Roach has also been recalled, while Alzarri Joseph and Shamar Joseph miss the tour due to injury.
Jamaican fast bowler Ojay Shields has received his first-ever call-up to the Test squad.
West Indies head coach Darren Sammy says Roach’s experience, along with the injuries to Alzarri and Shamar Joseph, made his inclusion essential.
