House Speaker Withdraws Rule Barring Linton from Current Sitting of Parliament

Leader of the Opposition Lennox Linton has been given the all clear to make presentations at the current sitting of the House of Assembly.

Linton was barred from contributing to the debate following an incident in the last sitting of Parliament but Linton questioned the decision, claiming thus was a new sitting and the rules did not allow the Speaker to continue to punish him.

Speaker of the House of Assembly, Alix Boyd Knights said after reviewing the matter, she decided to take a different approach.
