Prolific song writer and musician, Ian Jackson says while advancements in technology have had some positives it is having a negative impact on musicianship in Dominica.
Jackson says a number of musicians are unable to read or write music and are heavily dependent on technology to perform their craft.
Jackson says this current trend is a cause for concern.
He added that more needs to be done on the issue of marketing Dominica’s music.
