One individual is assisting the Commonwealth of Dominica Police Force with investigation into the seizure of a large quantity of firearms at the Woodbridge bay Port.
Acting Police Chief Lincoln Corbette said the Dominica Police Force, in partnership with the Customs and Excise Division continue relentlessly to rid the streets of illegal firearms and ammunition.
“In that regard, I can confirm that on April 07, 2021 a large quantity of firearms was intercepted at the Woodbridge Bay Port by personnel of the Customs and Excise Division, and officers of the Commonwealth of Dominica Police Force,” Corbette stated.
According to the Acting Police Chief, one individual is assisting the police with the investigations and more details will be made available at a later stage of the investigations.
