Kalinago Blasters with winning cheque following their win over Police SC the Intermediate finals

The Kalinago Blasters are the new champions of the Central Cooperative Credit Union Ltd./Dominica Cricket Association 2025 Intermediate League, sealing the title with a 57-run victory over Police Sports Club at the Geneva Playing Field in Grand Bay.

Batting first, the Blasters posted 188 in 30 overs, led by an all-round performance from West Indies U19 player Earsinho Fontaine, who top-scored with 42. Support came from Joel Durand with 37 and Darin Toussaint with 29. For Police, Jason Lamothe picked up 2/37.

Chasing 189 for victory, Police Sports Club fell short, bowled out for 131. Cheston Dangleben scored 28, while Lamothe added 24.

The Blasters’ bowlers shared the wickets, with Kester Lestrade (2/11), Fontaine (2/25), Toussaint (2/26) and Durand (2/46) all making key breakthroughs.

With the win, the Kalinago Blasters completed their campaign undefeated, lifting the 2025 Intermediate League championship trophy.
