Local Pig Farm Owner Denies River Contamination Allegations

The Owner of a pig farm in LaPlaine, Dr. John Toussaint has denied allegation that his enterprise has caused contamination of the Tabari River.

Chairman of the LaPlaine Disaster preparedness Committee, Jason Fontaine stated recently that faeces from the pig farm have been seen in the river.

But Dr. John Toussaint says he has employed the environmental measures on the pig farm.

Meantime, Chief Environmental Health Officer, Ferdinia Carbon says the department has monitored the pig farm but has not found evidence of contamination of the river.
