The Lupus Foundation of Dominica is to embark on a survey to determine the status of the disease in Dominica.
Glorine Thomas of the Lupus Foundation says the survey is needed since they are not sure about the number of people living with lupus.
Her statement came on the Connecting the dots program at the weekend.
