Major project to be undertaken to further improve disaster and climate resilience in Dominica

The Disaster Vulnerability Reduction Project will be undertaking a major project which will further improve disaster and climate resilience in Dominica.

A light detection and ranging (Lidar) Bathymetry and Topography survey of Dominica will be conducted next week.

Project Officer at the DVRP Nadette Langford says the data collected from the survey will give better insight into the analysis of water flow, flood control, land stability, and information of forest conditions to name a few.
