Matilda Clavia Simon

We announce the death of Matilda Clavia Simon better known as ‘Clavs’
age 52 of Campbell who resided in Warner.
She died on Monday 24 th August 2020 at her residence in Warner.
She was the wife of Helious Trocard of Mahaut
She was the Daughter of Theresa Esprit
She leaves to mourn her six children: Shannie Toussaint, Merlin Bermingham, Kimmael, Kimran and
Keira Warrington in Dominica and Kimarah Bates in New York.
Adopted children: Samantha and Yannick Warrington in Dominica and Kim Warrington in St Marteen
She will be remembered by:
Her Grandchildren: Merlisha, Merlanda, Kassim, Jerkim, Shermyha and Jaden.
Brothers: Kenson, Joseph and Norbert Esprit and Urvin and Martin Simon
Sisters: Cylma and Catherine Simon and Clayron Esprit
Nieces and Nephews including : Reiah, Rebecca, Darianna, Eunie, Eunel, Clevincia , Tarsha, Shernyka,
Nikisha, Clevince and others too numerous to mention
Aunts and uncles include: Netilia Simon, Rosetta Isarc, Bernard and Ashton Alexander
Close friends and Care takers: Lorma Registe, Claudette Jno-Baptiste, Nurse Warrington and Nurse Cuffy
Marisa Luke, Edrika Etienne, Annette Bates, Anita Bates and others names too numerous to mention.
Other family and friends including: The Warrington , Alexander, Joseph, Jno-Baptiste, Registe and
Morgan families of Warner and the Simon and Esprit Families of Campbell. The Parliamentary
representative of the Mahaut constituency Honorable Rayburn Blacmoore, the Management and Staff
of the Continental Store and the Communities of Campbell, Mahaut and warner.
The body of the late Matilda Clavia Simom will be transported from Lyndhurst Funeral Home for viewing
at 2:30pm on Tuesday, 29 th September at the Roseau Seventh Day Adventist Church. Funeral Service
begins at 3:00pm followed by interment at the Roseau Public Cemetery.
