Mayor of Roseau opposed to fixed election date

Mayor of Roseau Sandra Ermine Royer says a fixed date for the calling of general election, or a term limit for prime ministers should not be considered or accepted in Dominica.

Royer made the remarks while addressing the electoral reform consultation at Goodwill Parish Hall last night.

Meantime, attorney at law Ronald Charles believes a re-registration of the national voters list is needed.

The consultations continue tonight in marigot from 6.
