Minister for National Security Rayburn Blackmoore has announced that work has officially begun on a new fire and ambulance station in La Plaine.
Speaking briefly on the initiative during a press conference on Monday, Blackmoore said the project forms part of efforts to improve emergency response capabilities in communities outside of Roseau.
