Ministry of Tourism has invested over $2 million on site rehabilitation since Hurricane Maria

Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Tourism Careen Prevost says the Ministry has invested in excess of $2 million dollars on site rehabilitation following Hurricane Maria.

A number of the tourist sites across the island were affected by the Hurricane, and the Ministry of Tourism has been assisted by a Cuban team and the Ministry of Agriculture in the recovery process.

Prevost says this has paid off, and the country received good reviews from the cruise passengers who arrived in Dominica on Sunday.
