Modern piece of equipment sourced for new Hospital at a cost of $2.5 million US Dollars

Health Minister Dr Kenneth Darroux has confirmed that a modern piece of equipment which was sourced for the New Hospital is valued at 2.5 million US dollars.

The HAIFU, which is used to treat some forms of cancers, is not available in many Caribbean islands.

Dr Darroux led a Ministry of Health team to the hospital on Wednesday, where the importance of the HAIFU was highlighted.
