MoE to implement structures to facilitate SBAs

The Ministry of Education will put structures in place to facilitate the successful completions of School Based Assessments (SBA’s).

Chief Education Officer Dr. Jeffrey Blaize says most, if not all the subjects for the CXC exams have an SBA component.

He says however there are concerns that students do not complete these Assessments on time.

Meantime CXC Registrar Magalie Celestine says the results from the 2023 CXC examinations shows that only 5 schools submitted SBA’s for all students.
