National batsman Lex Magloire registered the first century in the 2023 NCCU Premier Cricket League and Kurtney Anselm bagged 9 wickets as the Grand Bay Credit Union Colts hammered the Mariner Blasters by an inning in the opening match of the competition on the weekend at the Botanic Gardens.
Colts declared on 247-9 batting first.
Lex Magloire got 113, Jahseon Alexander 46.
Wayne Auguiste picked up 4-25 and Derry Augusite 3-39 for the Marinor Blasters.
Marinor Blasters were 23-4 at the end of the opening day, there were eventually forced to declare at 41-7 on day 2.
Kurtney Anselm picked up 6 wickets.
Batting a second time the Blasters were bowled out for 154.
Kurtney Anselm took 3 wickets.
Colts won by an innings.
