Netball: CHS Top Under-20 While NECS Sets the Pace in Under-16 Division

The Convent High School (CHS) will resume action as the team to beat in both Under 16 and Under 20 when the Sports Division Secondary Schools Netball Competition returns on January 8.

Convent High School captured the championship title for two consecutive years in both under 16 and under 20.

With competition set to intensify in the new school term, teams across both divisions will be looking to improve their standings as the season progresses.

In the Under-16 Division, the North East Comprehensive School (NECS) “A” currently leads the standings with eight points, followed by Goodwill Secondary School (GSS) on six points.

Defending Under 16 champions, CHS sits in third position with four points, while Castle Bruce Secondary School (CBSS), Portsmouth Secondary School (PSS) A and B, and Pierre Charles Secondary School (PCSS) are all tied on two points.

NECS B and St. Martin Secondary School (SMSS) are yet to register a point.

Meanwhile, in the Under-20 Division, defending champions CHS lead the table with six points.

Castle Bruce Secondary School, Dominica State College (DSC) A and B, and NECS are all tied on two points, while Pierre Charles Secondary School and Portsmouth Secondary School remain without points so far.
