New IMF Executive Director for Dominica

Today Prime Minister Roosevelt Skerrit met with Nancy Horsman and her team from the International Monetary Fund (IMF).

Horsman is the new International Monetary Fund Executive Director for Canada, Ireland, nine Caribbean countries and Belize.

The International Monetary Fund promotes international financial stability and monetary cooperation. It also seeks to facilitate international trade, promote high employment and sustainable economic growth, and reduce poverty around the world. The IMF is governed by and accountable to its 189 member countries.
