New Medical and Nurses Bill to Go Before Parliament Soon

Chief Medical Officer, Dr. David Johnson says a new Medical and Nurses Bill are expected to go before Parliament later this year.

He says these are among several pieces of legislation on the cards to improve the health sector.

MEantime, Dr. Johnson says the mosquito borne Yellow fever poses no immediate threat to Dominica.

His statement comes as Trinidad’s Ministry of Health announced restrictions on travelers coming from six countries: Brazil , Colombia , Ecuador , Peru , Bolivia and Suriname.
