No timeline as to when residents will move into new Grotto Home

Chairman of the Board of Directors for the Grotto Home for the Homeless Paul Green has said that the Board is unable to set a timeline as to when the residents of the Home will be able to move into their new facility which is located at Bellevue Rawle.

The move to the new facility has suffered tremendous setbacks over the years with Hurricane Maria further compounding the situation.

Green says close to $200,000 will be needed for the renovations.

He also stated that the conditions at the Old Grotto Home at the Dominica Club is cause for concern.

Mr. Green said further that a number of persons from nearby communities have taken shelter at the new facility in Bellevue Rawle.
