The police have identified the body of a man found in a shallow grave in Savanne Paille recently and have charged one man in connection with the discovery.
The dead man has been identified as Hubert Wright, 53, of Grand Bay and Police Public Relations Officer, Acting Inspector Pelham Jno Baptiste said investigations have concluded and Trevor Joel Abraham, 30, of Savanne Paille has been charged with murder.
Abraham has since appeared in court where the charge was read to him. He was remanded in custody at the Dominica State Prison.
Wright’s partly decomposed body was found in a shallow grave at around 6:30 pm on November 8, 2016.
