Opposition Leader Lennox Linton left Parliament prematurely after he refused to apologise to Speaker of the House Alix Boyd Knights for a matter which had occurred on Wednesday.
The Speaker prevented Linton from further participating in the debate of the Supplementary Estimates if he did not apologise.
The call for the apology came when Linton was presenting the motion.
He was stopped by the Speaker because she said he was imputing improper motives.
In Parliament this morning, the Speaker again told Linton that he should apologize.
DBS News spoke to Linton as he was making his way out of Parliament.
