The Paix Bouche Eagles have made history, capturing their first national premier basketball championship after securing the 2024–2025 DABA Premier League title over the weekend.
The Eagles sealed the milestone victory with a 67–56 win over the BAA Sharks in Game 4 of the best-of-five finals, closing out the series 3–1.
Shamar Felicite led the scoring with a dominant 30-point performance, while teammate Ethan Boland added 17.
For the Sharks, Jimmol Peltier contributed 17 points and Christian Scotland chipped in with 15 in the losing effort.
Eagles senior player Lenin Paul described the achievement as a special moment for the club, highlighting the hard work and determination that carried the team throughout the season.
Sharks head coach Jerry Williams commended his players’ resilience, saying that although the title slipped away, he remains proud of the team’s effort and competitiveness.
