Pakistan have qualified for the Super Eight stage of T20 World Cup 2026 by beating Namibia by 102 runs in their final Group A game at the SSC in Colombo.
Sahibzada Farhan hit an unbeaten 58-ball-100 while Salman Agha (38) and Shadab Khan (36) also contributed as Pakistan belted 199/3 in their 20 overs.
Bowling for Namibia, Jack Brassell took 2/48 and Gerhard Erasmus 1/25.
Namibia in reply, had no real response for the Pakistani’s.
They were skittled for 97 in 17.3 overs. Louren Steenkamp got 23 and Alexander Volschenk 20.
Usman Tariq was chief destroyer. He claimed 4/16 from 3.3 overs while Shadab Khan too 3/19 from 4 overs, Salman Mirza 1/11 from 2 overs and Mohammad Nawaz 1/22 from his 4.
Sahibzada Farhan was named the player of the match with his knock of 100 off 58 balls.
Pakistan won by 102 runs.
Their qualification completed the Super Eight line-up. India and Pakistan qualified from Group A, Sri Lanka and Zimbabwe from Group B, West Indies and England from Group C, and South Africa and New Zealand from Group D.

In another group match today, South Africa beat the United Arab Emirates by 6 wickets.
The UAE posted 122/6 on the board. Alishan Sharafu scored 45, Muhammad Waseem 22, and Aryansh Sharma 13.
Corbin Bosch was extremely economical with the ball for the Proteas, he had figures of 3/12 in 4 overs. Other contributors were Anrich Nortje who took 2 for 28 and George Linde 1/17.
The Proteas in response chased down their target in 13.2 overs. They got 123/4 with Dewald Brevis getting 36, Ryan Rickelton a 16-ball-30, and Aiden Markram 28 off 11.
Haider Ali, Muhammad Jawadullah, Muhammad Arfan, and Muhammad Farooq took a wicket each for the UAE.

In the final game on Wednesday, Shivam Dube and Varun Chakaravarthy kept India unbeaten for Super Eight, extending their winning streak in T20 World Cups to 12.
India had first knock, they posted 193/6. Shivam Dube got 66, Suryakumar Yadav 34, Tilak Varma 31, Hardik Pandya 30, and Ishan Kishan with a valuable 18.
Logan van Beek had an expensive spell, he went for 56 in his 4 overs while also claiming 3 wickets in the process. Aryan Dutt claimed 2/19 from his 4 overs and Kyle Klein took 1/38 from 4.
The Netherlands in their chase, fell just 17 runs short, scoring 176/7 from their 20 overs.
Bas de Leede scored 33, Zach Lion-Cachet 26, Noah Croes 25, Michael Levitt 24, Colin Ackermann 23, and Max O’Dowd 20.
Bowling for India, Varun Chakaravarthy claimed 3/14, Shivam Dube 2/35, Jasprit Bumrah 1/17, and Hardik Pandya 1/40.
India won by 17 runs. Shivam Dube was named player of the match with a score of 66 off 31 and bowling figures of 2/35 from 3 overs.
