Parliamentary Representative for Roseau Central Melissa Poponne- Skerrit has praised diplomatic relations between Dominica and the People’s Republic of China, after a children playground was commissioned at Pebbles park, on Sunday.
China provided equipment for the playground while Government funded a wall to accommodate the playground.
The overall cost of the playground is two hundred thousand dollars ($2OO, OOO).
Mrs Skerrit says the playground is important in the lives of children.
