The Government of Dominica has announced new plans for housing in the St Joseph Constituency.
Prime Minister Roosevelt Skerrit says his Administration will crank up its interventions where housing is concerned to benefit all within the Constituency.
“Whether you live in Belles, or you live in Layou Park, or you live in Mero or Layou or St Joseph we are coming to you where housing is concerned,” Mr. Skerrit said.
According to Mr. Skerrit Government has already been looking at ideas to improve housing in that part of the country.
“I will be coming back here to meet you in discussions, so we can share how we gonna approach the housing program in the St Joseph Constituency,” the Prime Minister stated.
Mr. Skerrit said the joining of some lots is among plans being looked at.
“In Layou for example, we know that our lots in Layou are very small and so the thinking that we have is to see whether we can join some of the lots, and build more decent accommodations,” Prime Minister Skerrit further stated.
