Attorney General Levi Peter says plans for electoral reform for Dominica are at a standstill as a result of action taken by Concerned Citizens Movement.

In 2018, Government made another move for electoral reform by taking the amendments to the House of Assembly Election Act and Registration of Electors Act to Parliament, but the mattes were not debated as a result of opposition protest.

Peter says the decision by Concerned Citizens Movement to take the matter to court has put a dent on electoral reform for the time being.
