Plans for a special World Creole Music festival this year are to be reviewed.
Prime Minister Roosevelt Skerrit said the plan was to engage only local artists for the festival.
Mr. Skerrit told the Annou Pale Program last night that the cabinet had put aside 400,000 to host a world creole music festival this year.
He said this investment into local artists would be seen as a show of concern for them recognizing the impact that covid-19 had on musicians.
Mr. Skerrit said given the current situation we are still studying whether it is still possible to have it.
