Prime Minister Roosevelt Skerrit says the contributions of the National Employment Program should not go unnoticed.
The Prime minister says that the NEP has put a number of young people in a position to be gainfully employed.
The Prime Minister made the remarks yesterday at a meeting with a group of young people from the Roseau area at the Windsor park.
The Prime minister says that its governments intention to keep the NEP going.
The Prime Minister also gave a commitment to the young people who signed up for the NEP program yesterday that they would be engaged as early as this week.
Meantime Tourism Minister Senator Robert Tonge encouraged the young people to take full advantage of the opportunity provided.
