Prime Minister Roosevelt Skerrit has remembered the late Isaac Andre as one who was dedicated to sports.
Isaac Andre a former grounds man of the year and meritorious service award recipient passed away last week.
Isaac gained a reputation over the years as one of the premier grounds men on island, charged with the responsibilities of preparing fields for football, cricket and athletics.
In 2024, he was the recipient of the Meritorious Service Medal of Honor during the November 3rd Independence celebrations.
On numerous occasions, Andre was named grounds man of the year during National Sports Awards.
