Prime Minister Roosevelt Skerrit says he will hold consultation with leader of the opposition Jesmar Paul Victor on his nominee for new President of Dominica.
A new President for Dominica is due to be in place by October 1 , 2023.
The constitution of Dominica makes provision for consultation between the Prime Minister and leader of the opposition before a President is appointed.
