Erica Lewis Jules has topped the polls in yesterday’s Village Council Election in Point Michel with 227 votes.
Five people were elected out of a field of 10 candidates.
Government will nominate 3 and council the council will decide on a new chairman.
The five elected members were:
• Erica Lewis Jules- 227 votes
• John Irving Blanchard -197 votes
• Melvina Boyer -195 votes
• Henry Hasselt Williams -190 votes
• Sonia K Felix- 182 votes
The other candidates were:
Caris Alexander, Ian Bowers, Ray Charles, Ryan George Lantan and Dahlia Gregoire.
