The police are currently conducting an investigation into an aggravated burglary that occurred at the presbytery building in Belfast, Mahaut, on the night of Sunday, January 25, 2026.
It has been reported that a quantity of cash and a Mitsubishi double-cab pickup truck (registration number PP364) were stolen by four individuals.
According to a statement from the police, the vehicle was recovered the following day in good condition in the heights of Mahaut by the police investigative team.
Additionally, two males and one female have been apprehended in connection with the incident and are assisting with the investigation. During the investigation, suspected cash from the burglary was recovered from one of the suspects; however, inquiries are ongoing.
