Prime Minister Roosevelt Skerrit says Dominica remains ready to pursue a joint venture with its French neighbours, Guadeloupe and Martinique, for the sale of geothermal energy.
According to the Prime Minister, earlier conversations on the proposed partnership did not advance as far as anticipated.
However, he noted that the plan has not been abandoned and confirmed that the proposal has since been presented to the European Union, signalling Dominica’s continued interest in exploring external partnerships to support the country’s geothermal ambitions.
