Dominica’s Prime Minister, Roosevelt Skerrit, will participate in the world GOVERNMENTS summit in Dubai, United Arab Emirates
Mr Skerrit will contribute to high-level discussions on global investment trends and the future of tourism in an evolving international landscape.
The summit runs from February 3-5 under the theme, shaping future governments.
Prime Minister Skerrit is scheduled to speak on two featured roundtables: the future of investments and the future of tourism.
His participation will highlight Dominica’s priorities as a small Island developing state, with emphasis on resilient and sustainable investment, climate change infrastructure, renewable energy and inclusive economic growth.
The Governments summit brings together heads of Government, policy makers, private sector leaders and international institutions to explore innovative solutions to global challenges and shape the future of governance and development.
In Mr Skerrit’s absence, Finance Minister Dr Irving McIntrye will act as Prime Minister.
