Legal Counsel Attorney, Ray Harris has told public officers that the quality of service they provide to the public can affect national development.
Harris delivered a lecture to public officers on Thursday, “An Insight into the Spirituality and the Relevance to the Public Service.”
In his lecture, Harris aimed at explaining the meaning of spirituality and how individuals must not only understand certain basic immutable spiritual laws but must endeavor to live in conformity with them.
The lecture held at UWI Open Campus was to commemorate Public Service Day celebrations, 2016.
Public Service Day will be celebrated on Friday 2 December, 2016 with an awards and recognition ceremony. The theme for this year’s observance is ” Embracing the Challenge: Rethink, Rebuild, Transform”.
