Public Service Union Reports Progress with Ongoing Negotiations with Government

General Secretary of the Public Service Union, Thomas Letang is reporting improvement in Government’s latest offer to public officers.

Letang says the latest offer will be discussed with public officers at a meeting planned for Tuesday.

He says a decision will be taken at the meeting.

In April this year, Government proposed a zero percent increase in the first year, 50 percent of one month salary in the second year, and a three percent increase in the third year which the DPSU rejected.
