Minister of State with responsibility for Information and Telecommunications Chekira Lockhart-Hypolite says the issue of cyber security remains a major issue for Small Island Developing States.
The issue of cyber security was one of the major talking points from last week’s Digital Leadership in the Caribbean Conference in Trinidad.
The Telecommunications Minister says member states have signed a resolution aimed putting measures in place to improve cyber security and make it safer to do business online.
She says there is need for an assessment of the infrastructure of private sector and public sector networks to improve network security.
