Renewed Call for Safe Sex Practices During Carnival Season

The National HIV/AIDS Response programme has issued a fresh call urging the public to protect themselves against HIV and other sexually transmitted diseases during this year’s carnival celebrations.

Coordinator at the HIV/AIDS Response Programme, Alison Samuel says everyone should make a conscious decision to practice safe sex.

Samuel also says, this week, her team will attend a number of Carnival activities to encourage patrons to take action to reduce the risk of contracting HIV and STI’s.
