Minister for Education Octavia Alfred says the restructuring of the primary school and early childhood education system is underway.
Her comments came at the 22nd annual general meeting of the Dominica Association of Teachers on Wednesday.
The theme of the annual general meeting of the Dominica Association of Teachers was “Heath and Wellness Make Yourself a Priority”.
Meantime, Dominican teachers have been asked to be better representatives of the profession.
Mrs. Alfred made reference to the low turn out of teachers at the annual general meeting of the Dominica Association of Teachers at Goodwill Parish hall on Wednesday.
