Roseau City Council Strikes

Workers protested the controversy surrounding the appointment of the town clerk and other issues affecting them.

Operations at the Roseau City Council came to a standstill as the workers demanded that the recommendation from the Councillors at the Roseau City Council to appoint Erma Augustine as town clerk be accepted.

Meantime, the Waterfront and Allied Workers Union, the Union representing the employees at the City Council says that they raised the issue with the mayor her worship Irene John via a phone call on Wednesday.
