Schools in Dominica will remained closed for the third day today, following the passage of Tropical Storm Mathew.

Prime Minister Roosevelt Skerrit said on thursday, a decision was taken by Cabinet to have the children remain at home to give the schools time to clean up.

Schools are due to reopen on Monday.
